Video cameras are classified as devices whose main purpose is to record moving images, or videos. Webcams are digital video cameras attached to computers or computing device, used for capturing videos and picture to be stored, analyzed, displayed and sent on the Internet through the computer. A webcam does not store the videos or images itself, even though some small camcorders sometimes are called webcams.
